Every Sound I’ve Ever Made is a devised theatre piece exploring the complexities of women’s voices and bodies in contemporary America. Inspired by the work of Kristen Linklater and a pantheon of contemporary female poets, this work, originally the thesis to a collegiate summer research project, uses verse forms to explore how the theatrical space prompts women to both grapple with, and liberate, their presence and voice.

“If I took every sound I’ve ever made and released it like birds in a field, you would think twice before you told anyone what was said in this field and by whom.”
